In the heart of Alta Valtellina, Bormio, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Stelvio National Park, is an ideal destination for anyone who loves skiing. A uniquely beautiful location that offers a variety of different skiing options. Over 50 km of snow slopes from a height of over 3000 to 1200 meters, a vertical drop of 1800 meters. From the breathtaking mountain tops you can reach the town without taking off your skies. But downhill skiing is just one of the options, together with snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Modern, practical, and quick ski lifts, ski schools and slopes for all levels of ability, from experts to beginners, from sport enthusiasts to families with children. Bormio hosted the Alpine World Ski Championships in 1985, hosts World Cup races every year, and in 2026 will be one of the official venues of the Winter Olympics. Together with Santa Caterina Valfurva, Livigno, and Valdidentro, Bormio offers 300 km of ski tracks, 220 km for downhill skiing and 80 km for cross-county skiing.
